Hawaii Salsa

This is the week to get your dance shoes back on!

The Salsathon, Honolulu’s biggest salsa event, is this Saturday from 11am-7pm at the McCoy Pavillion in Ala Moana park. The event features Latin food, drinks, music, and dancing =) Some big names are coming from the mainland, and our group will be performing a Rueda, so come along and cheer us on!

In preparation here are the classes for this week:

Tuesday 6:30 - 8pm Beginner Salsa
Thursday 8 - 9:30pm Intermediate Salsa & Rueda
Location Atherton YMCA (both)

Don’t be afraid to come just because you missed a few classes! (I hear this all the time I assure you you’ll catch right up. And you’ll have fun doing it.

There will also be salsa events every night leading up to the Salsathon. Here’s a quick breakdown. Tuesday at Zanzabar, Wednesday at Panama Hatties, Thursday at Rumors, and Friday at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center (open to all).
